The sole aim of the organization is to help children affected by crises, or those that need better healthcare, education and child protection. It also campaigns and advocates to ensure children’s rights.
This time, the INGO is offering a vacancy of Deputy Manager for its ‘MEAL, Proyash Phase II’ Project

Responsibilities:
This Deputy Manager will be primary responsible for establishing and maintaining a liaison between the Humanitarian sector and the country level central MEAL team. It includes coordinating and providing technical assistance to the sector project teams in the areas of monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning.
The manager will also develop and roll out of MEAL framework and develop relevant tools for regular monitoring of the project. S/he will also be responsible to build the capacity of implementing partners to facilitating the monitoring process at ground level and provide technical support at the field level in order to ensure quality implementation of the project interventions.
The manager should also ensure that accountability and learning mechanisms are set up at all levels to capture project learning and best practices.
Coordination to prepare and submit different SCI report, [like as Country Annual Report (CAR), Key Performance Indicator (KPI), COMPASS], common approach and provide support to the Humanitarian sector to represent central MEAL mechanisms.
Applicants’ qualifications and experience:
At least 5 years’ working experience in the areas of M&E/ MEAL (risk reduction projects with 3 years in management position is preferred)
A proven track record in developing, implementing and reviewing M&E/ MEAL systems/ strategies at sector level.
Experience in conducting or commissioning evaluations/studies.
Solid understanding of quantitative and qualitative monitoring and evaluation methodologies
Capacity to design and implement Technology based MEAL system/processes such as KOBO for data collection will be an advantage
Proficient in computer operation, particularly, in SPSS, MS-Excel, MS-Access, and MS-PowerPoint
A Master’s Degree, preferably in Statistics/Economics/Urban Planning/ Environmental Science/MDS/DRM/Social Sciences or related discipline

The job location is in Dhaka while the contract length is ‘Regular’
